Our Driving Team
Veho Solutions uses a team of over 300 drivers, the majority of which are former police officers from London, and the surrounding areas.
This page shows some of the skills possessed by our driving team as well as an insight into what they do when they’re not providing a premium chauffeur service!
Andrew
Fleet Manager and Lead Driver
Andy has operated as Veho Solutions’ fleet manager on events such as The ATP World Tour Finals and The Open Championship. These roles have involved managing fleets of over one hundred vehicles including car handovers, valeting and maintenance. He also works closely with brands, understanding vehicle features and communicating them to our driving team.
Andy also works as a chauffeur to Veho Solutions’ private clients. He combines his warm and friendly demeanour with advanced driving qualifications achieved in the Metropolitan Police, to provide a superb chauffeur service.
When not working for Veho Solutions, you’ll find Andy on the water sailing both yachts and dinghies.
Steve
Lead Driver for Scottish Operations
Steve is perfectly suited to the planning and management requirements of a Lead Driver. He brings with him 30 years of experience with Strathclyde Police and Police Scotland, where he reached the rank of Inspector.
Steve has been vital in growing the Veho Solutions driving team in Scotland. This has included introducing advanced drivers and helping to familiarise new members of the team. During Veho Solution’s events in Scotland, Steve also liaises and plans with key hotels and airports, using his local knowledge to construct route plans and briefing notes.
Always with a smile on his face, Steve is the perfect chauffeur for guests of sporting events. Aside from his work with Veho Solutions, Steve is a keen cyclist and a fitness enthusiast.
Simon
Event Transport Manager
Simon joined Veho Solutions after 30 years of service in The Metropolitan Police. During his time in The Met, Simon developed experience in managing public order and security at high-profile events such as The Olympic Games, Champions League Finals, and Notting Hill Carnival. This experience has held Simon in good stead when managing the transport on Veho Solutions events. With a calm, and organised presence, Simon can handle high pressured environments with ease.
Simon also comes from a close protection and security background so has the ability to work with Veho Solutions clients who need more than chauffeur driver services.
In his spare time, Simon loves to ski and is also a keen runner.
Mario
Chauffeur to Veho Solutions Private Clients
Mario has been working with Veho Solutions since our involvement in the London 2012 Olympics and has progressed to becoming one of our top drivers. In addition to London based experience at events such as the 2013 Champions League final, Mario has also chauffeured across Europe at Art Basel and The Paris Motor Show. For each of the past five years, Mario has also driven one of the world’s top tennis players during the annual ATP World Tour Finals at The O2 arena.
Mario continues to be popular with clients thanks to his professional and courteous personality, combined with his advanced driving qualifications achieved during his time in the police.
Aside from his chauffeuring work, Mario speaks both conversational French, and Spanish, and is a keen skier.
Alison
Chauffeur to Veho Solutions Private Clients
Alison has developed a wide range of chauffeur experience while working with Veho Solutions and has played an integral part in events for brands such as Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Recently, Alison was part of the driving team for an exciting TV production transporting competitors across Europe. This experience of driving across the mountain roads of Eastern Europe, combined with 31 years of driving in the Metropolitan Police, makes chauffeuring Veho Solutions’ private clients a walk in the park!
With a positive and cheery attitude, Alison is a favourite of the guests on some of Veho Solutions’ biggest events including The ATP World Tour Finals Tennis where Alison works closely with the World’s Top Tennis players handling their transport needs while on-site at the O2 arena.
In her spare time, Alison is also a keen cook.
Guy
Chauffeur to Veho Solutions Private Clients
Guy’s warm, and professional personality means he is a popular driver with many of Veho Solutions’ “Chauffeur in your own car” clients. Guy has also been involved in events such as The ATP World Tour Finals tennis, chauffeuring the world’s top tennis players.
Guy joined Veho Solutions after 30 years in the police where he worked in a variety of capacities, including within diplomatic protection teams. He achieved his advanced driving qualification at the famous police driving school in Hendon and has also trained as a driving instructor.
During his spare time, Guy is a keen walker and hiker and loves to stay active.
Leroy
Chauffeur to Veho Solutions Private Clients
After completing 25 years with the Metropolitan Police Service, Leroy joined the Veho Solutions team and quickly became one of our most sought-after drivers.
During his time in the police, Leroy achieved a variety of advanced driving qualifications and was awarded a commendation for bravery. With experience in attending 999 emergency calls, in some volatile circumstances, Leroy is more than qualified to chauffeur clients to social and business events.
When Leroy is not working with Veho Solutions, he’ll be in the Dojo where he practices Brazilian Ji-Jitsu.
Chris
Chauffeur to Veho Solutions Private Clients
Chris has developed a wide range of chauffeuring expertise since joining Veho Solutions. This has included being the preferred chauffeur to the chairman of a well-known insurance company.
Chris’s work with Veho Solutions has seen him chauffeur clients in vehicles from Rolls-Royce to Range Rover. This confidence behind the wheel comes from 25 years of experience as an Emergency Response Level Drivers and 3 years in the Roads and Policing Command.
In his free time, Chris enjoys seeing his two grandchildren and is a keen rugby fan.
